Events held to mark anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's visit to Viet Nam An opening ceremony of photo exhibition and a reception took place at the Vietnamese embassy in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea on the 27th on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the great leader Kim Il Sung's official visit to Viet Nam.
Seen in the exhibition hall were photos showing the immortal exploits performed by the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un for the development of the DPRK-Viet Nam friendly relations.
Invited to the opening ceremony of the photo exhibition were Pak Sang Gil, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs; Kim Sung Chan, President of Kim Il Sung University who is Chairman of the DPRK-Viet Nam Friendship Parliamentary Group; Pak Kyong Il, Vice-Chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries who is Chairman of the DPRK-Viet Nam Friendship Association; Ri Hae Im, Vice-Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Women's Union of Korea, and officials concerned.
Present there were Le Ba Binh, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam, and staff members of his embassy.
Speeches were made at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
Speakers stressed that the DPRK-Viet Nam friendly and cooperative relations carried forward and developed by the preceding leaders of the two countries with success sublimated and developed into the special comradely relationship and strategic relationship on the occasion of Kim Jong Un's historic official goodwill visit to Viet Nam in March 2019.
They expressed their stand to expand and develop onto a fresher height the relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries which were formed and consolidated in the course of joint struggle for accomplishing the socialist cause and brilliantly inherited century after century and generation after generation.
A red ribbon was cut to declare the opening of the photo exhibition and then, the participants looked round the photos on display.
A reception was given.
