It is a top-priority and absolute work to provide the children with dairy products in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
The Law of the DPRK on Childcare is a superior socialist law which regards the children as kings of the country and provides all conditions for bringing them up as the future pillars. Article 2 of the Law stipulates as follows:
"Children are the future and treasure of the country. No revolutionary work is more important than the work to bring up the children well.
The state shall establish a well-organized system of producing and supplying the nourishing foods for the children, supply all the children with nourishing foods including dairy products free of charge and on a regular basis and provide the best conditions for bringing them up."
Of course, many children in the world live on dairy products. But it is only in the DPRK that the children across the country are provided with dairy products by the state free of charge.
At the Third Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea held in June Juche 110(2021), the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un stressed that no revolutionary work is more important than bringing up the children, the future of the country, healthily and it is the most crucial policy and greatest desire of the Party and the state to provide better conditions for bringing them up by spending a colossal sum of money.
He said it should be the way of advance and development of the Korean revolution to direct greater sincerity to the children in the face of hardships and vigorously go toward the future of communism by dint of love. He touched on establishing it as the Party's policy to provide the children across the country with nourishing foods including dairy products at the state expense and presented detailed tasks and ways for its implementation.
The Law of the DPRK on Childcare was adopted at the Sixth Session of the 14th Supreme People's Assembly of the DPRK held in February Juche 111(2022).
