The national sci-tech presentation in the sericultural sector took place through videoconferencing between November 28 and 30 under the sponsorship of the Korea Sericulture and Silk Technology Association of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea.
The presentation on the theme of “boosting productivity of cocoons” was aimed at widely generalizing sci-tech achievements and experience gained in increasing productivity and ratio of success, thus making a positive contribution to producing quality cocoons.
It was attended by scientists, technicians and field officials from over 70 units including Kim Il Sung University, Pyongyang University of Agriculture, Sariwon Kye Ung Sang University of Agriculture, Sericulture Institute of the Academy of Agricultural Science.
Presented to the event were more than 130 valuable papers achieved in the production of mulberry leaves and cocoons.
