Anniversary of President Kim Il Sung's visit to Viet Nam marked A photo exhibition, film show and reception took place at the embassy of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in Viet Nam on the 5th on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of the great leader Kim Il Sung's official visit to Viet Nam.
Displayed at the venue of the event were photographs showing the immortal exploits performed by the great leaders Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in their external activities for the development of the friendly relations between the DPRK and Viet Nam.
Present at the event were officials of political parties, government ministries, organizations and institutions including the Commission for External Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Public Security, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Academy of Social Sciences, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the General Confederation of Labour, the Women's Union, the Viet Nam-DPRK Friendship Association and the Vietnamese Newspaper "Nhan Dan", the charge d'affaires ad interim of the DPRK in Viet Nam and staff members of his embassy.
The participants looked round the photos on display and watched a video program dealing with the boundless reverence of the progressive humanity for the peerlessly great men.
Speeches were made at the reception.
That day, floral baskets came to the DPRK embassy from the Commission for External Affairs of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Viet Nam, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of National Defence, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, the Academy of Social Sciences, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Lang Son Provincial People's Committee,the Viet Nam-DPRK Friendship Association, the Viet Nam-DPRK Friendship Kindergarten and the Vietnam News Agency.
Meanwhile, an event was held in Hanoi on November 23 on the same occasion.
