Events took place at the DPRK missions abroad in the period between February 7 and 16 to celebrate the 82 nd birth anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il .
Such events as seminars on his exploits, celebration meetings, book and photo exhibitions, film shows and receptions were held at the DPRK missions in Vladivostok and Khabarovsk of Russia, Vietnam, Laos, Mongolia, Syria, Singapore, Iran, India, Cambodia, Pakistan, Germany, Romania, Bulgaria, Belarus, Switzerland, Sweden, Italy, Austria, the Czech Republic, Nigeria, South Africa, Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, Mexico and Venezuela and at the DPRK permanent missions to the UN Office and international organizations in Geneva and to the UN.
Present there on invitation were personages of parliaments, governments, political parties, organizations for friendship and solidarity, Juche idea study organizations and institutions of those countries and foreign diplomatic envoys. Officials of the DPRK missions were on hand.
Screened at the film shows were films and videos showing the spirit of advance, invincible power and development of the DPRK achieving the overall development of socialism under the leadership of the great Party.
The events were replete with boundless reverence for Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who built the DPRK into an independent power and put the strategic position and national power of the country on the highest level with their outstanding ideas and distinguished leadership.
