The Fifth Conference of the International Union of Agricultural and Foodstuff Workers held in Senegal between the 10th and the 12th adopted a solidarity declaration to the Korean people including agricultural workers.
The declaration highly estimated the agricultural workers and other people of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea in their struggle to increase the agricultural production and defend the sovereignty and right to development of the country, overcoming all challenges and difficulties.
It also extended support and solidarity to the struggle of the Korean people including agricultural workers to definitely put the countryside on an orbit of sustainable development by completely solving the food problem of the country and drastically changing the living environment of rural inhabitants and to reduce the difference between towns and the countryside and further improve the material and cultural living standards of the people across the country by developing regional industry in an all-round way.
The declaration exposed the fact that the United States is sending huge nuclear war assets to the vicinity of the Korean peninsula and frequently staging large-scale nuclear war drills with its vassal forces while openly talking about so-called "end of regime" of the DPRK in a bid to curb the desire of the Korean people to take the road of independent development in a peaceful and stable environment.
It called on the world progressive people loving justice and peace to dynamically organize and launch joint action and joint struggle against the US-led imperialist forces.
