Why He Was So Pleased
Visiting the Songdowon International Children’s Camp one July day in Juche 103(2014), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un went round the steep water slide installed in the outdoor wading pool.
The slide was made by the Korean People’s Army (KPA).
Early in June that year, the respected General Secretary had examined the slide and taken benevolent measures to install it in the outdoor wading pool of the camp.
That day when he visited the camp, the General Secretary stroked the horizontal track of the slide and expressed his great satisfaction at it made by our own efforts.
While looking round various places of the camp, he wanted to see the operation of the slide and thus he walked toward it again.
Seeing to it that accompanying officials took a slide first, he said with pride that it was very fantastic.
And then he noted that it looked nice with the brand "Taedonggang" and it was good to see the roof covered the top of the slide.
After a while, listening to the opinions of the officials who took the slide, he wore a broad smile on his face saying that the slide made by our own efforts was better than others.
It was a kind smile of the benevolent father who was so pleased to provide the rising generation with another wonderful thing made by our own efforts.
His Attentive Love for Schoolchildren
One November day in Juche 105(2016), the respected General Secretary visited the Samjiyon Schoolchildren’s Palace.
When he dropped in at a group room, the General Secretary pointed out that the room’s temperature was so high and asked accompanying officials if there was not a thermostat.
The officials could not answer him.
Until then, the pupils and teachers as well as the parents thought that the warm room was good even in midwinter.
But the respected General Secretary was concerned for providing the pupils with more proper indoor temperature.
Kindly looking at the officials, he earnestly instructed them to establish the integrated control system enabling to automatically control the temperatures of each room.
He also stressed again about the above-said problem at the room for fine art group.
The officials hardly repressed their emotion looking up to the great father who always takes care of our children.
