The people in the DPRK significantly greet the May Day, the international holiday of the working people throughout the world.

On this occasion, they recollect with deep emotion the boundless world of love of the peerlessly great men associated with this day.

President Kim Il Sung put forward the working people, who had been subjected to exploitation and oppression, as the most precious beings early. He personally attended the Pyongyang mass rally on the first May Day after the national liberation to arouse the working people in the country to building a new country.

In the flames of the Fatherland Liberation War, too, the President issued the orders of the supreme commander of the Korean People’s Army (KPA) "On the Occasion of May Day" and instilled into our working class and people confidence in victory.

Inspired by the love and trust of the President, our ordinary working people could bring about the Chollima era striking the world people with admiration on the ruins, while performing an epoch-making miracle by realizing socialist industrialization in a mere 10-odd years.

And our working class grew up more firmly as the reliable large unit for building a powerful socialist country under the bosom of Chairman Kim Jong Il.

Saying that our country is one for the working class, the Chairman paid deep attention to the workers and invited the working class of the enterprises of the metal industry and relevant sectors to the May Day celebrations in Juche 98(2009) and enjoyed the revolutionary opera "The Flower Girl" together with them, showing warm love and care to them.

Thanks to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who loves the working class as the President and the Chairman did, their honor and worth are further being glorified.

In the wake of visiting the Kangsong Health Complex on May Day in Juche 101(2012) to congratulate its workers, he visited the workers’ hostel of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, which was wonderfully built as a hotel and palace for the workers, in April Juche 103(2014) and took benevolent measures for holding a grand banquet for its workers in celebration of May Day and congratulating them instead of his behalf.

Indeed, the warm love and trust bestowed on the working people by the peerlessly great men serve as a source of making them bring the proud history of the miracle and innovation on this land and a strong motive force for building a powerful socialist country.

As our people have the General Secretary in high esteem, the May Day will be glorified as a genuine holiday for the working people and a significant day bursting into their labor honor and pride century after century.
