May 9 is a day of victory and a joyous holiday that the Russian people celebrate with immense pride and confidence.
We extend warm congratulations to all the Russian people as they celebrate this significant anniversary of Russia’s war victory in the course of confidently pioneering their future, braving difficulties unprecedented in history.
Seventy-nine years ago, on May 9, 1945, the army and people of the Soviet Union defeated fascist Germany that was threatening the very existence of mankind and made great contributions to safeguarding peace and security of the world by dint of mass heroism and matchless spirit of safeguarding the country.
War with fascism was a trying ordeal to the people of the Soviet Union and the victory achieved during the cause has been recorded as an immortal heroic epic in the history of Russia.
Years have passed and the generation has changed since the day of great rejoicing at the victory. However, there hasn’t been the slightest change in the sinister intention of the hostile forces to annihilate the exploits of the Russian people of winning the war and deprive the country of its independent rights and interests.
If there is any change at all, it is that the U.S., once stood up as one of the anti-fascist allies, though outwardly, during the 2 nd world war to disguise its true intention of containing the growth and development of the Soviet Union, has now completely thrown off its mask and is bent on proxy war to overthrow Russia.
The current Ukrainian crisis being witnessed by the entire world is the inevitable result of the extremist and unilateral policy pursued by the U.S. and Western countries that have incited the Kiev authorities to confrontation with Russia while ignoring Russia’s legitimate security interests and instigated the revival of Nazism for the past decades.
The U.S. and its followers seem to be obsessed with a foolish dream that they can easily topple Russia, their strategic enemy, once their fully-armed stooges present themselves as a shock brigade in the confrontation against Russia. Their irresponsible act of supplying the neo-Nazi force of Zelensky puppet clique with MBTs, depleted uranium bombs, cluster bombs, long-range cruise missiles, and other lethal weapons is clear enough proof of the above.
Now the Zelensky puppet clique, emboldened by the weaponry from the “Western merchants of death”, is bragging that they will continue their “resistance” against Russia to the last, but this is nothing more than desperate hysteria of stupid confrontation maniacs steeped in pro-US flunkeyism and submission.
The U.S. and its vassal states need to seriously recall the well-known fact that the two great wars of defending the country recorded in the Russian history ended with the invaders’ bases completely destroyed.
There is a saying that those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.
It is crystal clear that the tradition and history of victory of the past has brought about today’s Victorious Day, which will extend into another great victory of tomorrow. Its certainty and guarantee are also sure enough.
The Russian army and people with ardent patriotism, perseverance and indomitable spirit, will surely achieve the final victory in their righteous struggle to defeat the imperialist allied forces and neo Nazism as befits the descendants of the glorious generation of war victors.
We will always stay in the same trench with the Russian army and people who have now turned out in the righteous struggle to establish an independent and peaceful new world order.
