Main Culprit in Stifling Future

Date: 11/07/2024 | Source: Ministry of Foreign Affairs (EN) | Read original version at source

Not long ago, the United Nations reported that the number of children dead or injured from worldwide conflicts in 2023 has increased by 35%, compared to the previous year, amounting to 11 649 children.

Then why the children, the source of laughter and happiness of a family, should be forced to unreasonable suffering and death before they even get the chance to give display to their hopes and dreams?

This is the outcome of the interference of the U.S. and the West in internal affairs of other countries under the pretext of “democracy” and “protection of human rights” which consequently drove countless people into the turmoil of war and conflict by fomenting social unrest and chaos, and worse still, resulting in change of regimes.

Most notably, the U.S. and the West have clamored on about “war against terrorism” and “extermination of terrorism” since the 9.11 incident and waged bloody genocidal wars in all parts of the world including Afghanistan and Iraq. They have caused bloodshed in the form of various “color revolutions” in many countries under manipulation of such as the “Rose Revolution”, “Orange Revolution” and “Arab Spring”. Unimaginable number of people have lost their lives as a result and the main victims of this massacre are none other than innocent children.

In Afghanistan, the “counter-terrorism” of the U.S. and the West made 4 million children suffer from malnutrition in the year 2023 alone, among which 3.2 million were less than 5 years old. Several millions of children could not attend school and 7.5 million were in need of medical attention.

Meanwhile, in the Gaza Strip of Palestine, nearly 4 thousand children went missing as of today due to the indiscriminate slaughtering by Israel under active patronage of the U.S. and 17 thousand children were left parentless. And since the outbreak of the conflict, 15 thousand children lost their lives.

All these facts clearly tell us once again that the “democracy” and “protection of human rights” advocated by the U.S. and the West is only a deceitful and insincere slogan to cover up their schemes to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, create instability in the region and stifle the future of the targeted nation.
