President of the Republic of Nicaragua Daniel Ortega Saavedra and Vice President of the Republic of Nicaragua Rosario Murillo sent jointly a congratulatory message to respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , President of the State Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), on the occasion of the 45 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the DPRK and the Republic of Nicaragua on August 6.
The message reads as follows:
The Sandinist National Liberation Front of Nicaragua and the Government of National Reconciliation and Unity are significantly celebrating August 21, the 45 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations which led to the formation of invincible and militant bonds between the people of Nicaragua and the Party, government and people of the DPRK.
We have great respect for President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il and for the leadership of Comrade Kim Jong Un who is the head of state of the DPRK, leader of the Workers’ Party of Korea and our brother. We are celebrating the fact that our two peoples have grown into invincible revolutionary forces in the past decades of difficulties, challenges and strenuous efforts.
It is our honor to celebrate the birthday of diplomatic ties together with the Korean people on the road of struggle to build a world of peace and justice that ensures national sovereignty and people’s welfare and rights.
We send greetings to respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and to the Party and people of Korea.
