Souvenir Picture Reflecting His Trust

One October day in Juche 104(2015), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited Rason Municipality.

He learned in detail about the construction and housewarming preparations saying that he came to the municipality as he could feel relieved only after looking round the newly-built dwelling houses by the Korean People’s Army (KPA) before others.

Looking up to the respected General Secretary, officials recalled a happening some time ago when he had inspected the municipality for guiding its rehabilitation work from flood damage on the spot.

That day, he said that the people’s trust was the best precious one among the wealth and that we must repay the people’s trust in the spirit of making selfless for the people with a viewpoint that there is nothing more to wish for us if we are trusted by people.

Looking back upon the day, officials could hardly repress their emotion.

That day, being very pleased to see another fairylike village built in a short period, he felt his heart swell with pride when thinking about the feats performed by service personnel of the People’s Army in all parts of Rason.

And he waited for a long time till tens of thousands of service personnel gathered for having a photo taken with them.

Such touching scenes were a crystallization of his love for and trust in our people’s army upholding the noble intention of the Party for the people in the van.

Inheriting Noble Tradition

The respected General Secretary inspected the Wonsan-Kalma Coastal Resort under construction in August, Juche 107 (2018).

He said that the construction of the resort was one of the undertakings he had most desired to do for our people and that it was why he had formed a construction force with the People’s Army as the main force.

The officials felt a lump in their throat.

They keenly felt his great trust in the People’s Army.

The respected General Secretary noted that the service personnel have safeguarded the Party and the leader, the country and the people at the cost of their lives and made proud achievements in the struggles of devoted service for the people’s happiness and the great campaigns of creation since the foundation of the Anti-Japanese People’s Guerrilla Army, the predecessor of the Korean People’s Army.

He stressed that, in order for the KPA to fulfill its mission and duty as the people’s army inheriting its such noble tradition, it should duly hold up the banner in the struggle to become the creator of people’s happiness and pioneer and guide of civilization true to the grand plan of the Party.

His teachings bore an earnest request that the People’s Army should carry forward the tradition created in the flames of the anti-Japanese struggle.

Thanks to the service personnel, who are loyal to their sacred mission and duty, the beautiful future of the socialist powerful country is approaching nearer to us.
