Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) -- Thanks to the labor efforts of officials and working people across the country to unconditionally and correctly carry out the tasks for this year's struggle, true to the decisions of the plenary meetings of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the national economic plan for November was successfully fulfilled in different economic sectors and units.
The key industrial sector has increased production in the outposts for self-supporting economic development.
The steel workers overfulfilled their production plan for rolled steel by 120 percent.
The chemical industry, a core industry for self-supporting economic development, brought about a surge in production in the spirit of Chollima in the new era.
The Namhung Youth Chemical Complex increased the production of Juche fertilizer. And the February 8 Vinalon Complex, the Sunchon Chemical Complex, the Ponghwa Chemical Factory and other units have made signal achievements by tapping reserves and possibilities and updating equipment.
The electric-power industry sector put the management of generating equipment and power transmission and distribution system on a scientific basis and hastened the technical upgrading, and thus fulfilled its national economic plan.
The Ministry of Coal Industry fulfilled its production plan for November at 100.6 percent.
The machine-building industry sector made successes in the production of custom-built equipment.
The Ministry of Mining Industry fulfilled its production plan for nonferrous metals and minerals.
The railway transport workers carried out their monthly freight plan at 109.1 percent.
Several units in the forestry sector set felling sites right and increased the utilization of machinery and equipment, and thus carried out their yearly plan. -0-
