Mass technical innovation campaign making all the people well versed in science and technology

All sectors and units of the national economy are conducting brisk mass technical innovation campaigns while stepping up modernization and informatization in our style by relying on science and technology.
The masses of the people are the masters and developers of technology. Through a mass technological innovation movement, they not only consolidate what they have learned but also acquire more knowledge. In the course of solving scientific and technological problems arising in the development of their units while participating in such a movement, they improve their ability to apply science and technology and fully prepare themselves as intelligent workers well versed in science and technology.
For example, working people in the tractor and farm machine production units took part in the national technical innovation competition of the April 15 technical innovation shock brigades, held on the theme of “Production of efficient and quality tractors and farm machines” from March to October this year, and attained many technical innovation goals.
The workers at the Sangwon Cement Complex have introduced valuable technical innovation achievements in the recent three to four years and thereby exceeded the peak year level.
Hundreds of units have been awarded the title of model technical innovation unit this year.
Brisk mass technological innovation movements have produced many inventors among working people.
Hundreds of valuable scientific and technological achievements were accepted for the 37th National Festival of Science and Technology held from April to May.
The sci-tech activities including national sci-tech presentations, exhibitions and symposiums help disseminate achievements and experiences and further improve the technical knowledge and skills of the working people.
The reality shows that mass technical innovation movement constitutes an important link in the whole chain of the efforts for making all the people well versed in science and technology.
