The people in Kyongsong County, North Hamgyong Province of the DPRK greeted an auspicious event amid the inauguration ceremonies of modern regional-industry factories, which will substantially contribute to the improvement of regional people's material and cultural living, taking place one after another across the country.

Kyongsong County in the northern part of the country is full of joy of the inhabitants, who will lead a beautiful life while enjoying a new socialist civilization to the full in the new era of rejuvenation when the capital city and all the regions develop and change simultaneously.

An inauguration ceremony of the regional-industry factories in the county took place on January 12.

Present there were officials and working people in North Hamgyong Province and Kyongsong County, soldier-builders and employees of the factories.

Kim Yong Hwan, chief secretary of the North Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, addressed the ceremony.

He stressed that this significant inauguration ceremony, which has shown up the looks of the wonderfully changed county along with the beginning of the hope-filled new year, is strikingly demonstrating the plan of the great WPK Central Committee to make the ideal appearance of regions a true picture of Korean-style socialism as well as the bright prospect of the new regional development policy.

Thanks to the indelible trace left by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un in the county, the Jungphyong Greenhouse Farm, the first large-scale vegetable producer, sprang up in the county, the Yombunjin Coastal Park is being built on a scenic beach and in pine forests, and modern regional-industry factories have appeared as the first entity for regional rejuvenation to give joy of a fresh life and new civilization, he said.

Pak Kun Sok, chairman of the Kyongsong County People’s Committee, in his speech expressed his will to ensure a full operation of the modern regional-industry factories, a brilliant embodiment of the WPK’s people-first politics, so that they can turn out popular goods.

Kyongsong County, which has been famous for ceramics and hot springs from olden times, is changing beyond recognition every year under the loving care of Kim Jong Un , Kim Ki Dok, a worker at the Kyongsong Electric Appliances Plant, said, adding that he would devote all his loyalty and patriotic zeal to the benevolent motherly Party translating the long-cherished desire of the regional people into reality.
