On the occasion of the 75 th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) and the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the Vietnamese Embassy in the DPRK hosted a reception on January 31.
Present there on invitation were Comrade Choe Son Hui, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the DPRK, Comrade An Hyon Min, Vice Department Director of the Central Committee of the Workers` Party of Korea (WPK) and officials concerned.
Comrade Le Ba Vinh, Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and his embassy staffs attended the reception.

The long-standing relations of friendship which were established by respected President Ho Chi Minh of the Vietnamese people and great President Kim Il Sung of the Korean people and cultivated by successors of both countries, have continued to consolidate and grow to a higher stage, he noted.
The Ambassador expressed his heartfelt thanks for the valuable support that the Party, government and the people of the DPRK have rendered to the Vietnamese people in their cause to defend and develop the country.
He stressed his firm conviction that the Korean People will achieve greater successes in building a prosperous socialist country under the seasoned leadership of the WPK headed by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .

She noted that the friendly and cooperative relations between the DPRK and Vietnam, established by the preceding leaders, have now entered a new development phase thanks to the care and attention of the supreme leaders of the two countries.
She emphasized that it is the firm stand of the WPK and the DPRK government to always value the tradition of friendship with Vietnam established on the basis of socialism and to expand and develop it in an all-round way so as to contribute to the cause of socialist construction in both countries and to the efforts of the world people for independence and justice.
She wished the Vietnamese people success in their struggle for a prosperous and civilized socialist state through successful implementation of the decisions made at the 13th Party Congress under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
