A socialist paradise in which all people alike would lead a happy and comfortable life, or the heyday of overall national rejuvenation, is coming into reality in the DPRK.

Throughout last year ceremonies were held across the country to move into new houses, and from the beginning of this year there has been great excitement up and down the country over the consecutive inauguration ceremonies for regional-industry factories.

Since the regional-industry factories were inaugurated in South Phyongan Province’s Songchon County in December last year, such factories have been brought into operation in Jaeryong County of South Hwanghae Province, Sukchon County of South Phyongan Province, Unpha County of North Hwanghae Province, Kyongsong County of North Hamgyong Province, and other parts of the country.

On January 7, when he looked round the regional-industry factories in Jaeryong County, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said the inauguration ceremonies for the regional-industry factories take place one after another in 20 cities and counties including Songchon and Jaeryong counties as a fruition of sincere efforts rendered for the people last year, adding that this is an auspicious event of the whole country that gives great pleasure to the people who have started the worthwhile journey in the new year.

A fruition of sincere efforts rendered for the people–this remark is so meaningful.

One January day last year he, mindful of the draft decisions of the plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, according to which some counties would build regional-industry factories on a par with those in Kangwon Province’s Kimhwa County and other cities and counties would make preparations to this end, said that he was going to make the Party keep hold on the construction of modern regional-industry factories in 20 counties every year as a policy-oriented task, carry it out without fail and thus raise one stage further the basic material and cultural living standards of the people in all cities and counties and, in other words, across the country within ten years.

In addition to the line for rural prosperity, he noted, I am going to call this policy of our Party, designed to develop onto a higher stage the basic material and cultural living standards of regional people across the country at the earliest date possible by pushing forward with the regional industrial development, Regional Development 20×10 Policy , and push ahead with its implementation.

This is how the construction of the regional-industry factories was launched.

Thanks to his sincere and strenuous efforts for the people, a happy life and brighter future are coming true for them.

The leader is devoting himself to the people, and the latter are enjoying benefits from his devotion. This is the reality of the DPRK.
