A performance of art group members of the Mangyongdae Schoolchildren’s Palace in the DPRK was given on February 14 to celebrate the 83rd birth anniversary of the great leader Generalissimo Kim Jong Il .
Among the audience were Kim Jong Sun, department director of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and officials concerned, students of Mangyongdae Revolutionary School and Kang Pan Sok Revolutionary School and schoolchildren in Pyongyang.
The performance began amid the boundless reverence for Generalissimo Kim Jong Il , who put forward the rising generation as precious treasure of the country and reliable pillars shouldering its future and made ceaseless journey of loving care and devotion for posterity.
In duet and Oungum ensemble “Song of Best Wishes,” an immortal classic, the performers sang in high praises of the immortal feats of the peerlessly great man who clarified the precious truth that the safety of the leader precisely means the destiny of the country and nation, reflecting the unanimous desire of all the people of the country for the safety of President Kim Il Sung , on the words and melody of the famous song during the hard-fought war.
The numbers showing the vivacious looks and stamina of the rising generation who are firmly preparing themselves to be masters and juvenile revolutionaries for the future of a powerful country under the care of the motherly Party were acclaimed by the audience.
The performance, stressing that the future of the country will be very rosy thanks to the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un , ended with orchestra and chorus “Forward, Flying Red Tie” and “Marshal Kim Jong Un Is Our Father.”
