Residents in Ragwon County Full of Gratitude to Respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un

The news of the groundbreaking ceremony of the Ragwon County Offshore Farm impressed the residents in Ragwon County.

When they heard that the construction of the Ragwon County Offshore Farm was decided at the 11th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, they were excited envisioning the completion of the modern country offshore farm.

Furthermore, the news that the respected General Secretary attended the ceremony led them to feel the peak of impression.

Han Chol, chief secretary of the Ragwon County Committee of the WPK, expressed his emotion:

Actually, the county was one of the smallest ones in the country and has weak economic foundations.

So I always kept on thinking of the ways to improve the county’s economic foundation.

Then the respected General Secretary indicated the ways for regional development in conformity to the specific conditions of our county and led the work for it.

I, always keeping in mind the noble intention of the General Secretary who devotes his all for the sake of the people, will be faithful to the Party’s policy of regional development in the spirit of devoted service to the people.

Not only I but other officials of the county are now encouraging themselves remembering his instruction that the future of Ragwon County entirely depends on its inhabitants.

An Myong Hui, a worker of the county public catering establishment, and many other residents volunteered to work at the sea offshore farm with the will to actively contribute to the development of the county.

Now the residents in the county are full of determination and will to devote themselves to the work for bringing about rosier future of their county with gratitude to the respected General Secretary.

People in South Hamgyong Province express their emotions after the groundbreaking of the offshore farm in Ragwon County.

Hwang Myong Chol, vice-chairman of the South Hamgyong Provincial People’s Committee, said that the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un indicated the bright future for Ragwon County and his love for the rural people is endless.

Now all the officials and people in the province are full of zeal to dedicate their all to implementing our Party’s policy on rural development as the predecessors did.

People in other areas were also moved to tears seeing the respected General Secretary on TV and thinking that the painstaking efforts of the General Secretary open the way toward a paradise.

Ri Son, an old resident in Mangyongdae-dong of Mangyongdae District, said:

The people in South Hamgyong Province are provided with fresh vegetables all the year round thanks to the benevolence of the Party. And they will receive processed marine products from the Sinpho City Offshore Farm and the similar farm in Ragwon County. How affluent their life will be!
