The Kaesong Koryo Jangsu Insam Processing Factory is famous for producing tens of kinds of health foods with insam including Kaesong Koryo Insam Tea and Kaesong Koryo Insam- Lycii fructus Tea. Insam, a speciality of the DPRK, is well known as the best natural material for tonics.
Recently it has developed various other kinds of highly-efficacious functional health drinks.
Among them is a resistive dextrin beverage.
As soon as it was on sale, it has won popularity because it is produced by multiplying bifid bacterium, a useful bacterium in the human intestines.
According to Kim Ik Gil, manager of the factory, the beverage improves immunocompetence, regulates the release of hormones and is efficacious for the prevention and treatment of intestinal, circulatory, metabolic and cancerous diseases.
Through years of painstaking research, the factory succeeded in developing the health food by making in an original way resistive dextrin, which is regarded as a wonderful dietary fibre in the world. And it has established modern production lines for filtration, extraction, concentration and packaging as suited to the requirements of HACCP and launched serial production.
Besides, it has made the extracts of Kaesong Koryo hongsam , which has good taste, aroma and high rate of absorption.
The products are popular for their high medical efficacy.
