The Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson condemned the U.S. for indicting Chinese nationals for hacking attacks.
The U.S. indicted 12 Chinese nationals, including two officials, for a series of hacking attacks. In regard to this, the Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson commented that China rejects the groundless U.S. accusations and urges the U.S. to immediately stop its wrongdoing of abusing sanctions.
He continued as follows:
Last December, a Chinese cybersecurity agency disclosed two recent cyberattacks against Chinese high-tech companies launched by the U.S. intelligence community. The U.S. is the No.1 “hacking empire” in the world. We call on the U.S. to ditch its double standards and stop framing China.
