The International Friendship Exhibition House at the foot of Myohyang, a celebrated mountain of Korea, preserves over 70 000 gifts presented to President Kim Il Sung (April 15, 1912-July 8, 1994) by foreign heads of state and government and leaders of political parties, people from all walks of life and personages of international and regional organizations.
The gifts are unprecedented in terms of profundity of their meaning and content, kind and form and rarity.
They reflect the warm sincerity and reverence of the world people for the President who possessed high international prestige, outstanding political ability and lofty personality.
