Youth and Students Meet with Meritorious Persons of Socialist Patriotism and Socialist Patriotic Young Vanguard

Present there were Mun Chol, chairman of the Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League, officials of the youth league and youth and students in Pyongyang.
The meritorious persons of socialist patriotism and the socialist patriotic young vanguard made speeches at the meeting.
Mun Kang Sun, workshop head of the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, talked about the benevolence bestowed by the peerlessly great men who put forward the ordinary weaver as a labour hero known to the whole country and a model of the times and showed loving care to be remembered forever.
She requested the youth and students of the new generations to regard loyalty and patriotism to the country as the greatest honour and worth and decorate their youth with remarkable achievements.
Kim Won Chol, workteam leader of the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery Preservation Institution, who is devoting his sincerity to preserving the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt Taesong, said about the loving care of the Workers’ Party of Korea which honoured his efforts for loving a single tree and a single blade of grass in the cemetery and growing them in thick verdure with the title of a meritorious person of socialist patriotism, implanting in the minds of the new generations the truth that the youthful days shine more when the vibrant youth is dedicated to the motherland.
Ri Hyang in the heavy machine unit of the Pyongyang Construction Commission referred to the fact that she became a bulldozer driver even though she was a girl and improved her technical knowledge and skills true to the Party’s plan for capital city construction and performed labour feats in many major construction projects in those days.
They were followed by oath-taking speeches.
Speakers expressed their will to demonstrate the spirit and mettle of the patriotic youth by following the example of the meritorious persons of socialist patriotism and the socialist patriotic young vanguard.
