New houses have been built in Ungsang-dong, Sonbong District of Rason Municipality, the northern tip of the DPRK, the third of its kind in the municipality in June.
The new appearance of the countryside, where the people and mountains and rivers change beyond recognition, is a precious outcome of the validity and vitality of the programme for the rural revolution in the new era set forth by the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , and clearly proves that the plan of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea to build an ideal society in which all the regions of the country develop together and all the people are evenly well-off is being translated into a brilliant reality.
A ceremony for moving into new houses took place on the spot on June 9.
Present there were officials in the municipality and the district and workers of the Ungsang agro-stock production branch of the Rason Ship Repair Factory. A congratulatory speech was made, house licences were handed over and speeches were made there.
Then, house-moving started amid the cheerful dance party.
Officials visited the families moving into new houses and congratulated them, sharing joy with them.
