By that time he was working at a medical institution. One day he heard the news that further improvement in Koryo medicine was the agenda item of a major national meeting.

This motivated him to develop a medicine effective for arresting a raft of diseases by banking on the principles and therapies of Koryo medicine.

To this end he conducted hundreds of tests to confirm the pharmacological effects of a wide range of medicinal stuffs and choose raw materials and to identify the ratio of mixing the selected medicinal stuffs and the ways of making them.
