Recently a number of farms have introduced the composite microbial treatment agent “Jiryok 1” developed by the Wirim Equity Joint-venture Company, creating positive response. According to them, a kilo of the treatment agent is enough to improve the quality of one-hectare soil. And the new agent is very effective for increasing fermented compost production and helps save vinyl sheets a lot.
First of all, the agent is significantly good for improving soil fertility.
It accelerates the decomposition of the fibrous matters in the compost in a short span of time by dint of the special action of microbes and their activating agents, makes the indigenous microorganisms flourish after compost is spread over farm fields, and turns the microelements such as phosphor, potassium and nitrogen in the soil into the forms the plants can directly absorb.
It easily decomposes straws and fallen leaves and is very effective for the production of phosphor and mineral fermented compost. Also, it makes it possible to turn out quality fermented compost in a matter of a month even in winter.
It has been proved that with the application of the agent the permeability and water absorption of soil have been raised and that rich harvest can be expected from the fields with previous annual yield of a few tons.
In case it is applied for treating seeds and sprayed to the leaves of crops, it speeds up the rate of germination and rooting of crops, improves their immunity. Accordingly, it hastens their rate of growth and increases their weight per 1 000 grains.
The agent was highly rated at the 38th national sci-tech festival and exhibitions in the field of science and technology.
