In August 2015 an enlarged meeting of the Central Military Commission of the Workers’ Party of Korea was held under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .
The news about the meeting greatly excited the local and foreign people, because it discussed the issue of rehabilitation of flood-hit Rason Municipality as an important agenda item instead of strategic issues related to the national defence.
At the meeting Kim Jong Un issued an order in the name of the Supreme Commander of the Korean People’s Army that the army shall take full charge of the rehabilitation of the municipality and complete the project before the founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea and made an important decision to organize the headquarters for commanding the campaign.
The next month he visited the rehabilitation site by air and sea and across hills. There he said that the WPK is a party that serves the people and struggles to provide them with a happier and more affluent life and that the campaign for recovering the city from the damage is not merely a work to clear away the aftermath of the natural disaster but a sacred struggle to defend the deep trust of the people in the Party.
Indeed, as he regards his beloved people’s trust as the greatest wealth in the world, Kim Jong Un is still making devoted efforts for their pleasure and happiness.
