The 15th Enlarged Plenary Meeting of the Tenth Central Committee of the Socialist Patriotic Youth League (SPYL) took place on July 9.
Attending it were members and alternate members of the SPYL Central Committee.
Present there as observers were officials of the SPYL Central Committee and youth league officials from ministries, national agencies, provinces, cities and counties.
The meeting discussed the issue of thoroughly implementing the decisions of the 12th Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
Mun Chol, chairman of the SPYL Central Committee, made a report.
The reporter stressed that the outstanding idea of the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un on cherishing as the lifeline the purport and intention of the Party’s politics of prioritizing the youth and firmly preparing the officials and members of the youth league to be true successors to the revolution is the guidelines to be held fast to by the youth league in thoroughly attaining this significant year’s goals.
The report analyzed in detail the successes and experience gained in the youth league organizations at all levels, and shortcomings and lessons revealed in the organizations in the last period and referred to the ways for arousing their members to the drive for implementing the Party’s decisions.
The reporter called upon all the youth league officials to make more courageous, effective and intensive efforts to fulfil their responsibility and duty and thus greet the Ninth WPK Congress as a meeting of victors and glory.
Speeches were made at the meeting.
A relevant decision was adopted at the meeting.
