The regional-industry factories newly built in 20 cities and counties strive to enhance the roles of their technicians and skilled workers so as to improve the quality of the products they turn out retaining the characteristic features of the relevant regions.
According to data collected by the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea, many regional-industry factories in Songchon County of South Phyongan Province, Jaeryong County of South Hwanghae Province, Kusong City of North Phyongan Province and other regions have carried out over 90 technical innovation projects in the first half of the year, thus achieving remarkable successes in putting production on a normal footing and improving the quality of their products.
For their good quality indices, the products of the regional-industry factories in Songchon County were highly appreciated at a show of products of regional-industry factories in 20 cities and counties held in Pyongyang this year.
The Yonthan County Foodstuff Factory in North Hwanghae Province has remodelled the extruding denaturalizer and upgraded automatic temperature sensors and programs for koji-making process, thereby remarkably increasing the production of soy sauce and soybean paste and improving the quality of condiments.
The Hamju County Daily Necessities Factory in South Hamgyong Province has made all necessary technical preparations for producing plastic bottles on its own, while the Tongsin County Foodstuff Factory in Jagang Province has introduced a rational technical innovation plan to the production of corn syrup to improve its quality.
By remodelling the nozzle of the blow moulder, the Sukchon County Daily Necessities Factory in South Phyongan Province has succeeded in removing almost all the burs on the plastic containers, which helps it save raw materials and improve the quality of its products.
The Kusong City Daily Necessities Factory in North Phyongan Province has raised the extraction rate of cooking oil by installing heaters and screws in oil presses.
