A spokesperson for the Foreign Ministry of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea gave the following answer to a question raised by KCNA on Tuesday as regards the fact that shortly ago, Israel openly revealed its attempt to completely occupy the Gaza Strip of Palestine:
A “decision” of the Israeli Cabinet on the complete occupation of the Gaza Strip of Palestine is a clear act of violating international law that plainly shows Israel’s gangster-like intention to seize the internationally recognized territory of Palestine.
The Gaza Strip is an inseparable part of the Palestinian territory and a unilateral attempt to change the population and sovereign position of the Gaza Strip can never be allowed.
The DPRK bitterly denounces and rejects Israel’s criminal act of seizing territory which aggravates the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip and wantonly violates peace and stability in the Middle East region.
We strongly demand Israel immediately stop the illegal armed attack on Palestinians and completely withdraw from the Gaza Strip.
