Recently, the high IT level of Moranbong Middle School No. 1 is drawing interest in the educational sector.
For more than a decade the teaching staff has made steady efforts to put education on a high IT basis in line with the actual conditions of the school.
In the course of this, they launched platform kwamokgyosil.
It consists of teaching schedule, students’ performance, notice, e-mail, general table and e-library and helps organize teaching activities rationally and introduce advanced teaching methods into lessons.
The platform enables the teachers to give students tasks for prep and learn about their understanding of them in advance through scientific analysis of their implementation. Therefore, the effectiveness of teaching is improving by far.
The school has also developed a self-study support system.
With the help of this system, students receive homework and reference data and perform prep and review at home and send the results to the platform every morning.
Another achievement is the virtual teaching experience system designed to contribute to improving the quality of teaching.
This program helps teachers apply an optimal teaching method into practice by taking into full consideration the questions that may be raised by students through simulated lesson.
All these achievements are based in the school’s rich teaching database. The school is enriching the database by embracing opinions of not only teachers but also students.
The superior teaching support programs find their application in the general education facilities across the country and the school was chosen as one of the top ten model informatization units for 2024.
