The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said in his speech at the event to celebrate the New Year 2026 that he would never exchange for anything else the dignity and glory of living for our great people and waging the revolution for them, repeatedly describing the people as great.
The dignity and glory of living for our great people and waging the revolution for them , as he said in the speech, means the delight he finds in devoting his all to the good of the people and the greatest joy he feels in readily taking all burdens upon himself and working heart and soul for their benefit.
With superhuman energy he led the efforts to glorify 2025 as a year of great changes. From the outset of the New Year he was as ever on his energetic field guidance tour.
He watched an artistic performance for celebrating the New Year 2026 and met the schoolchildren participating in the New Year performance. On January 2 he visited the Sinuiju Combined Greenhouse Farm under construction and congratulated and encouraged the young people who greeted the New Year. On January 3 and 4 he visited a major munitions factory and oversaw a missile launching drill conducted by a sub-unit under a major firing strike group of the Korean People’s Army, respectively. The next day he visited the construction site of the Memorial Museum of Combat Feats at the Overseas Military Operations to acquaint himself with the progress of the project.
When all the people of the country were enjoying themselves in the New Year in great delight, he was on the road of devoted service for the people.
