Youth and students had a gala evening at Kim Il Sung Square on February 27.
Among the spectators were Pak Thae Song, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea and premier of the DPRK Cabinet, and other members of the Party central leadership, the participants in the Ninth Congress of the WPK, and members of the congratulatory groups of Koreans in Japan and the General Association of Koreans in China, and Pyongyang citizens.
The gala evening of youth and students began with the playing of the song “Dear Father”.
The youth and students danced to the tune of songs such as “Cheers of the People” with deep reverence for the WPK which is bringing about steady prosperity of the DPRK and bringing the people’s dreams and ideals into reality by dint of great strength of ideology and unity.
Beautifully decorating the nocturnal sky over the capital city were the fireworks of various colours representing the high self-confidence of the youth vanguard, who are glorifying the most glorious era of the Juche revolution.
The atmosphere of the gala evening was revved up as the song “Forward, Young People, Following the Party” demonstrating the strong spirit of the passionate youth writing a new chapter of history of transformation in the vanguard of the general advance as befits the masters of the dignified youth power was sung along with a flag dance.
Fireworks were set off amid the playing of the song “We Are Koreans”, redoubling the conviction that only the immortal victory and glory are always in store for Juche Korea advancing under the leadership of the Party.
