One day in December last year, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un attended the inauguration ceremony of the regional-industry factories newly built in Jangyon County and then looked round the Jangyon County Foodstuff Factory.
Tasting products of the factory, including wheat paste and sauce, he expressed great satisfaction over the fact that the factory attaches importance to the quality of products.
It is really spectacular to see the regional foodstuff factory producing beer with the local brand through an advanced production line, he praised.
From olden times Jangyon County has been widely known for its barely cultivation. Taedonggang Beer, a household name in the country, is also made with the barely produced in the county.
In consideration of the local people’s desire to drink beer produced with the locally-available raw material and by their own efforts, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un , at the beginning of last year, had taken measures to establish the beer production line in the foodstuff factory to be newly built in the county.
That day he said that it is the correct implementation of the Party’s policies and the further development of them to increase the indices of production conducive to improving the material life of the residents in the county with raw materials abundant in the area and turn out excellent products.
The taste and quality of products depend on the sincerity and skills of their producers, he said, referring to the need to draw up the guidelines on the detailed quality indices and standard operation for every process and establish a system of strictly observing them. At the same time, it is necessary to organize a brisk competition for developing new products and improving quality among the newly-built regional-industry factories in order to create and promote the atmosphere of advancing and developing all together, he noted.
