Following the grand blueprint provided by respected Comrade Kim Jong Un at the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea (WPK), the DPRK has ushered in a great golden age of construction in the new era during the past five years. Pyongyang has been turned into a hub of Juche-oriented culture and Korean-style civilization. Entities conducive to the people’s well-being have been built one after another across the country.

Comrade Kim Jong Un mapped out a grand plan to turn Pyongyang into a world-class civilized city. His energetic guidance delivered without fail 10,000 flats to Pyongyang every year since 2021. New streets and houses including the modern Pothong Riverside Terraced Houses District and Jonwi Street sprung up to demonstrate their majestic appearances. Their excellent architectural formative and artistic beauty combined with advanced features have further improved the appearance of the capital city.

With the iron will that there can be no satisfaction in the work for the people, Comrade Kim Jong Un launched a grand construction campaign on an unprecedented scale in Pyongyang and other parts of the country for the well-being of all the people and the prosperity of our socialist state.

Samjiyon City – the first place where regional transformation was witnessed in the new era – has become a four-season mountainous tourist attraction with distinctive features. The Wonsan Kalma Coastal Area was successfully completed thus giving birth to an outstanding coastal resort town of national value. Hot-spring therapy and recuperation facilities were built in an excellent location in Onpho. The Yombunjin area, renowned as a scenic spot on the country’s east coast, has presented a new scenery of civilization with its own uniqueness.

Comrade Kim Jong Un regards the people’s laughter as a symbol of the socialist system. Such noble outlook on the people has allowed our people to enjoy the benefits of a new civilization to their hearts’ content. Wonderful and modern hospitals and leisure complexes have been built in the capital city and other areas, housewarming parties are thrown in the socialist rural villages every day, and wonderlands of socialist cultural efflorescence have sprung up all over the country.

Our people are firmly determined to build a prosperous and thriving socialist paradise as early as possible under the leadership of the WPK.
