The DPRK, known as a land of picturesque rivers and mountains from olden times, abounds in spring water.
Spring water is part of the precious natural resources for medical treatment.
Spring water means natural one that has a relatively high content of minerals and meets hygienically required standards.
A Russian figure, who visited the DPRK some time ago, appreciated the Sindok spring water, saying that the water tastes sweet and pure and he feels refreshing to drink it in Pyongyang.
In addition to the Sindok spring water in Onchon County, there are other sources of healthful spring water in hundreds of places across the country, including Pyongyang and Nampho municipalities, and South Phyongan, South Hwanghae, North Hwanghae and Kangwon provinces.
