Open infringement upon state sovereignty, wanton violation of the international laws, and the subsequent politico-economic chaos and disorder across the globe are causing great suffering among many people, especially children.
A recent report of an international charity organization stated that the number of children living in conflict areas in 2024 was nearly 520 million which corresponds to one fifth of the world’s child population.
And it said that more than 41,700 child rights violations such as murder, sexual violence and conscription were recorded – a 30% increase over the previous year.
More than 20,000 children were killed in Gaza strip since the Israeli military invasion in October 2023, the report revealed.
Another international charity organization said that among governments’ development aid spending, child-related sectors declined from 15% in 2019 to 11.5% in 2023. According to UNICEF, the funding situation for humanitarian aid deteriorated sharply in 2025 owing to reduced government contributions.
Children are our hope and future.
The prevailing tragic situation reminds us of the immutable truth that only when we safeguard national sovereignty and security by adopting every possible means can we provide the children with stable and excellent childcare conditions and educational environment and firmly guarantee the future of the state and nation.
