One day in September 2013, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the construction site of apartment houses forlecturers at Kim Il Sung Universitynearing completion.
He dropped in at a flat and looked roundthe living room, kitchen and other places, deeply mindful of providing theeducators with better places for happy living.
After a while, he entered the study andsat down on a chair in front of the desk. And then he looked at the wall infront of it.
He said to the officials that it would bea good idea to fix a shelf-style bookrack on the wall where the desk was placedin the study so that the lecturers and researchers would be able to study andprepare for lectures without feeling any inconvenience.
The officials had a lump in their throat ashe showed warm love for them with parental affection, saying that all necessarythings should be provided for the families, who were to move into the apartmenthouses for lecturers, to ensure they would have nothing to envy.
And then the General Secretary noted thatit would be more convenient for the lecturers and researchers to put books theyoften saw on the shelf-style bookrack fixed on the wall in front of the desk andpick them out from it whenever they were necessary.
Soon shelf-style bookracks were fixed inthe studies of the apartment houses for lecturers at Kim Il Sung University.
