Of late, the Pyongyang Cosmetics Factory is drawing a lot of foreigners.

The visitors are unanimous in highly appreciating the fact that the factory has built up its capacity to develop new products by itself and undertake delivery by order and that it turns out diversified and quality products. They also apply for buying its Unhasu-brand cosmetics.

At present, the factory is producing more than 300 articles of cosmetics in over 100 kinds.

An Australian cosmetics dealer said: My daughter tried in vain to remove pimples on her face, using so many world-famous cosmetics. But the products of this factory had a marvellous efficacy. Saying that she would use only the Unhasu-brand cosmetics, she asked me to revisit the DPRK for them and she would present them to her friends.

During his second visit to the factory in October 2018, the president of a company under the Eurasian Economic Community (EAEC) said he has seen no such a factory equipped with perfect processes for production from cases to cosmetics, and that such factory could not be found even in Russia. His wife, too, uses only the Unhasu-brand, he added.

He asked a professional quality analysing unit of the EAEC to assess the quality of over 20 articles of Unhasu-brand cosmetics. As a result, 25 kinds of the cosmetics have been awarded the quality certificates of the EAEC on December 25, 2018.

Kang Min Sim, head of cosmetics institute of the factory, says: Our products are stealing the limelight of foreign cosmetics dealers and customers, as their main material is just the world-renowned Kaesong Koryo insam. I think its pharmacological actions are the magnetism of the Unhasu-brand cosmetics.
