Among those who took the floor at the Second National Conference of Exemplary Young People of Virtue held in May Juche 104 (2015) was a 20-year-old girl from Chollima District in the city of Nampho.
Before the photo session after the conference was over, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un met some of the exemplary young people.
Recognizing the girl among them, he shook her hands and patted her on the back, saying: So you are bringing up seven orphans. How laudable you are! You are a “girl mother.”
Later, in the letter of thanks he sent to the Party and youth league organizations that had trained young people into the vanguard of the era possessed of ennobling spirit and virtues, he highly praised that the laudable deed of the 20-year-old “girl mother,” who was nurturing seven orphans with maternal affection in the prime of her life, moves all the people.
And when he visited the newly-built Youth Movement Museum in Kwangbok Street, Pyongyang, in January Juche 105 (2016), he, in front of a photo he had posed with the participants in the Second National Conference of Exemplary Young People of Virtue, said that he could not forget the day when he had met the “girl mother.” He stressed the need to ensure that persons of virtue like her were produced in larger numbers among the young people.
The deeds of the girl were admirable. But thanks to the loving care of Kim Jong Un, who values and puts forward the commendable deeds of young people, the ever-increasing ranks of them possessed of unstinted loyalty make the large flower garden of socialism more beautiful.
