All the people of the DPRK out in the new year advance are intent on the intensive study to fully arm themselves with the new idea and policy of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK), says Rodong Sinmun Sunday in an editorial.
The 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th WPK Central Committee is a historic meeting as it clarified the clear-cut policy orientation and resolutions for the successful implementation of the fighting programme of the 8th Party Congress and for advance and development at the next stage, holding higher the banner of independence and patriotism, the editorial says, and goes on:
To deeply study the important speeches made by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un at the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee is an essential requirement for giving full play to the loyalty and patriotic strength and enthusiasm of all the people and further redoubling the spirit of uninterrupted innovation and advance.
All the officials, Party members and other working people should intensively study in depth the General Secretary's important speeches with their strong will to carry forward the glory of 2023, in which they won unprecedented and precious victories and successes by faithfully upholding the plan and determination of the Party Central Committee, to 2024.
Only when all the people deeply grasp the basic idea and spirit of the plenary meeting, can they regard the work for implementing the tasks for this year set forth at the plenary meeting as the work for themselves with a sense of duty of the times and actively turn out in their execution.
The editorial calls upon all the people to thoroughly arm themselves with the idea of the 9th Plenary Meeting of the 8th Party Central Committee and go all out in the struggle for its implementation and thus glorify this year as a year of great change in overall Party and state work and in socialist construction to be splendidly recorded in the history of the country and further demonstrate the invincible might and prestige of the DPRK before the whole world.
