Party and government officials on December 2 toured the township area of Samjiyon County which has undergone a drastic change to be an ideal city for the people.
Pak Pong Ju, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers’ Party of Korea, vice-chairman of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and vice chairman of the WPK Central Committee, looked round the township area.
He was accompanied by Kim Jae Ryong, member of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, member of the DPRK State Affairs Commission and premier of the Cabinet, O Su Yong, vice chairman of the WPK Central Committee, chairmen of the provincial committees of the WPK, chairmen of the people’s committees and officials of ministries and national agencies.
Enjoying a bird’s-eye view of the township area at the observation platform on top of Pegae Peak, they keenly realized once again the noble moral obligation and the love for the people shown by Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, who has worked heart and soul to turn Samjiyon County, the sacred place of the revolution, into an ideal socialist village.
They then made the rounds of the Samjiyon Blueberry Drink Factory which the Supreme Leader highly appreciated as the model and standard of locally-run plants during his inspection in October last, dwelling houses, Samjiyon County People’s Hospital, Samjiyon county town general store, Samjiyon County stadium and other places.
