DPRK Ambassador Meets Minister of Education, Science and Technology of Nepal

Jo Yong Man, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea to the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal met and had a talk with Giriraj Mani Pokharel, Minister of Education, Science and Technology of Nepal, on June 17.
Both sides exchanged views on the issues of increasing mutual cooperation and interchanges in the areas of education, science and technology between the two countries.
The Minister of Education, Science and Technology of Nepal said that he learns much from the DPRK achieving national progress without yielding to the harsh embargo and sanctions and he is pleased to see that Korea demonstrates its dignified prestige on the global stage.
He also noted that it is really amazing that there is no single case of infection in the DPRK when the world is undergoing difficulties due to the spread of COVID-19, and he appreciated that it is the result of correct policy of the Supreme Leader of the DPRK and its government.
