Officers and men of the People's Army are working hard to defend the people in the recovery campaign in the areas hit by natural disasters to carry out the tasks given by the Party Central Committee.
Officials, working people, youths and students across the country are sending letters to them.
Soldier-builders who are waging a vigorous reconstruction campaign in the calamity-stricken areas in South Hamgyong Province and Kangwon Province including the Komdok area and Kimhwa County and in North Hamgyong Province were pleased to receive the letters of encouragement from the people.
Senior Party officials of provinces in the eastern part of the country personally visited the reconstruction sites to covey the letters to the soldiers and gave pep talks to them.
The soldier-builders came to realize again their mission and pride as the army of the people, reading the letters mirroring the thankful feelings of the people.
The letters represented the gratitude of the people in the calamity-stricken areas toward the solder-builders who are building their dwelling houses, and respect and thankfulness of schoolchildren for the soldier-builders who are building schools and providing new school things.
