DPRK Ambassador Meets Secretary of State of Cambodian Foreign Ministry

Jang Yun Gon, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) to the Kingdom of Cambodia, met and had a talk with Soeung Rathchavy, Secretary of State, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on February 8.
Extending her warm congratulations to His Excellency Kim Jong Un , President of the State Affairs, on his election as General Secretary of the Workers’ Party of Korea at the 8th Congress of the Party, the Secretary of State noted that all the lines and policies adopted at the Party Congress are righteous.
She expressed her hope that the Korean people will achieve successes in their efforts for accomplishing the important lines and the five-year plan for national economic development set forth at the 8th Congress of the Party and that Korea will be reunified as soon as possible.
Both sides exchanged views on the issues for developing the bilateral relations, and the Secretary of State said that she will make active efforts to further develop the historic and traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
