President Kim Il Sung was a brilliant military strategist and ever-victorious iron-willed commander as he led the Fatherland Liberation War (June 25, 1950-July 27, 1953) to victory and put an end to the myth of the U.S. "mightiness", opening a new era of the anti-imperialist and anti-U.S. struggle.
The U.S. imperialists recommended so-called famous "strategists" and "tacticians" of the West to work out war scenarios and operation plans against the Korean people. But they only met shameful defeats in the whole period of the Korean War, due to the rare military wisdom, distinguished strategy and tactics and commanding art of the President.
Upon the repeated defeats the U.S. suffered from military operations which the think tank of the U.S. army vouched for "victory", the world praised the achievements of the Korean People's Army as a "military stunt".
The general secretary of the Central Committee of the All Union Communist Party of Bolsheviks of Russia said: The Korean War was very fierce, but the U.S. and its followers fell on their knees before the army and people of the DPRK who were united as one around Comrade Kim Il Sung, the great brilliant commander possessed of iron will, military strategy and rich experience gained from armed struggles.
The chairman of the Indian Coordinating Center of Trade Unions said: The world war history remembers many famous generals, but no one can match the respected President Kim Il Sung, the brilliant iron-willed commander who inflicted merciless defeat upon the U.S. army boasting of being the "strongest" in the world.
A journalist of the Soviet Union said that all the strategies and tactics created by President Kim Il Sung were beyond the imagination of famous European strategists and American operations planners, noting he came to be convinced that the U.S. could never win the Korean War as the days went by.
Clark, former commander of the "UN Forces" who signed the Armistice Agreement, admitted that the north Korean army's success was attributable to the competent commandership of General Kim Il Sung.
