Plaques to Honor Chairman Kim Jong Il and Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un Unveiled in Russia

Plaques to honor Chairman Kim Jong Il and the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un were hung at Vladivostok Railway Station in Russia with due ceremony on April 23 on the occasion of the second anniversary of Kim Jong Un's historic visit to the Russian Federation.
Seen on them were letters written in Korean and Russian reading "Comrade Kim Jong Il, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and chairman of the National Defence Commission of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited Vladivostok Railway Station on August 23 and 24, 2002" and "Comrade Kim Jong Un, general secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, president of the State Affairs of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and supreme commander of the armed forces of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, visited Vladivostok Railway Station on April 24 and 26, 2019".
Attending the ceremony were personages of the maritime territorial government and the maritime territorial legislative assembly of Russia, the Vladivostok city administration, the Maritime Territorial Regional Committee of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation, the Pacific Sea Fleet, the Far East Railway Bureau, social organizations and institutions, the DPRK consul general and consuls in Vladivostok and others.
A floral basket and bunches of flowers were laid before the plaques after the unveiling.
Congratulatory speeches were made at the ceremony.
