The national sci-tech presentation in the automation sector was held under the sponsorship of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Science and Technology of Korea by way of video conference.
The presentation with the theme of “metallurgical industry and its automation” was aimed at accelerating the technical completion of the Juche-based system of making iron and expansion of its production capacity by strengthening the creative cooperation among technicians, scientists and producers in the sectors of automation and metallurgical industry in their efforts to implement the decisions set forth at the Eighth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea and the Second Plenary Meeting of its Eighth Central Committee.
It was attended by officials, teachers, researchers, undergraduates and field scientists from over ten units such as Kim Il Sung University, Kim Chaek University of Technology, Automation Institute and Control Machine Institute under the State Academy of Sciences, and the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex.
Presented there were over 130 treatises completed in the researches to develop the automation sector of the country.
In-depth discussions were held about the technological methods to solve the problems arising in the automation sector of the Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex and the Chollima Steel Complex.
Lectures on the cutting-edge technologies also stole the limelight of participants.
