The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un once visited a gymnasium to see a basketball match.
When the first round was finished after a fierce seesaw battle,the respected General Secretary who had been watching their playing style carefully went to meet the players of one team.
He pointed out that they failed to play the match in a dynamic way, which was not good practice, and that it was an ongoing worldwide trend to speed up basketball matches, adding speeding up is also required in view of the Koreans’ physical characteristics.
It is needed to resolutely break with outdated patterns in game plans and apply different attacking tactics in matches, he said.
In the second round, the team raised their playing speed and employed various tactics and took the lead in the match. Therefore, their scoring rate was improved and the opponents found it hard to defend.
When the match was over, the General Secretary told the delighted players that he wished they achieved better results in training and matches.
The players were brimming over with great confidenceas they looked up to him as he left the stadium after giving many instructions on the playing style that suits the physical constitution and temperament of the Koreans and that is in line with the international trend of speeding up basketball matches.
