The Defence Development Exhibition Self-Defence 2021 took place between October 11 and 22 to mark the 76th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
It drew endless streams of visitors every day. Among them were officials of the WPK Central Committee, senior Party officials of cities, counties and complexes, officials of ministries and national agencies and those in the sector of mass media and other pressmen, officials, teaching staff and students from several universities in the capital city of Pyongyang and many other people.
Looking round the exhibition, they expressed their excited impressions.
Choe Jong Guk, head of a department of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea, said: I keenly felt once again the invincible might and strategic position of our country and cherished the pride in and self-confidence of living and working in such a powerful socialist country. I am full of confidence in the future of our country which will become more powerful and prosperous.
Prof. and PhD Hwang Kon, a section chief at Kim Chaek University of Technology, said: Each country and its people are desirous of being strong. But the great cause of building a powerful and prosperous country is unthinkable apart from the leadership of the great Party. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our Party which has led the defence industry to bring about rapid development in such a difficult and complicated situation as today and thus provided the absolute strength for firmly guaranteeing the eternal security and future of our country.
Han Su Il, an official of the Ministry of Public Health, said: Looking round the cutting-edge military hardware showing the level of eye-opening development and prospects of our country’s defence science and munitions industry, I felt the great might of our country and its strategic position that has been put on a new high stage.
Ri Chung Bok from the Central Industrial Design Bureau said: I recollected with great pride that our country was quite right as it has traveled the road of fortitude in a do-or-die spirit for acquiring a strong treasured sword for defending peace. The exhibition which showcases the remarkable achievements made in the revolution in the defence industry is an epoch-making demonstration of the invincible military muscle of our country.
